Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of the Carvia platform: marketplace role, acceptable use, quotes and pricing, certified-exporter transactions, and buyer responsibilities.

Scope

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Carvia platform — including browsing listings, submitting inquiries, or requesting quotes — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Carvia may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms apply to all visitors, buyers, suppliers, and certified exporters using the platform.
Additional terms may apply to certified exporters and suppliers under separate platform agreements.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

Marketplace role

Carvia is a neutral marketplace operator

Carvia is a neutral marketplace operator — vehicle sales contracts are between the buyer and the certified exporter. Carvia verifies listings, screens compliance signals, and routes inquiries, but Carvia is not a party to any vehicle sale, does not take ownership of vehicles, and does not act as agent for either side of a transaction.

All vehicle purchases are concluded directly between the buyer and a certified exporter on the exporter's own contract terms.
Carvia's verification signals (such as the Export Ready Score) reflect platform checks at the time of review and are not a warranty of vehicle condition or fitness.
Payment, shipping, customs, and delivery obligations are defined in the contract between buyer and certified exporter — not by Carvia.
Disputes about a vehicle transaction should be raised with the certified exporter first; Carvia may assist with records and routing but does not adjudicate contracts.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes, prices, and estimates

Prices, CIF / FOB figures, shipping quotes, and landed-cost indications shown on the platform are estimates provided for comparison purposes. Final pricing is confirmed only in a binding quotation issued by a certified exporter.

Displayed prices may change with exchange rates, freight rates, vehicle availability, and destination requirements.
Shipping and duty estimates are indicative; actual logistics costs are confirmed by the certified exporter at quotation.
A quote request submitted through the platform is an inquiry, not a purchase order or a binding commitment by either side.

Acceptable use

Using the platform responsibly

The platform may be used only for legitimate vehicle-sourcing and export-trade purposes. Carvia may suspend or remove access for misuse.

Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent inquiries, listings, or documents.
Do not attempt to bypass the certified-exporter model, scrape private data, or contact suppliers outside platform channels.
Do not interfere with platform operation, probe security controls, or misuse other users' information.
Comply with all export, import, sanctions, and customs laws applicable to your transaction and destination market.

Liability

Platform availability and limitation of liability

Carvia provides the platform on an as-is basis. While the platform applies verification and compliance screening, Carvia does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or any particular transaction outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carvia's liability arising from platform use is limited to the amount you paid Carvia (if any) for the service giving rise to the claim.

Carvia is not liable for the acts or omissions of buyers, suppliers, or certified exporters.
Listing content is supplied by suppliers and exporters and reviewed by the platform; residual errors may exist.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
